alright, the past few days have been quite difficult -- I MUST SAY.

the jet lag has been totally getting to me... like, sleeping at 4 in the afternoon? i simply couldn't keep my eyes open. now here i am at close to 1 in the am, and nope, showing no signs of tiredness.

anyway, it's great being home again though, it's such a change from the land where cold winds blow and frost lingers gently on the grass as the morning sun rises gently over the horizon. as much as i hate to admit it, i'm beginning to miss my pals from college. it seems as though we'd been together for years when in actual fact it was merely a short short 3 months max. how it happened? search me. all i know is that i'm going to miss the hanging around and talking in the dark until 2am, partying at the most random gatherings and not sleeping till 5, that is something worth remembering.

home though, it smells different -- like something familiar and warm. only when i came back did i realise how much i missed it. i can't wait for christmas. *rubs hands in anticipation*

ahhhh, to be totally out of point, i happened to walk by claire's accessories at the airport in manchester and saw the most beautiful pair of snowflake earrings on the face of this earth! so i bought it. they're really pretty though, and they'll definitely be worn in the near future, not just for christmas, so the dosh was worth it. (consoling oneself)

faizah, are you back? i'll call you soon ok? maybe next week! gosh, i can't wait to see you! and renu as well! call me when you're back! oh, and dearest martin! if you see this give me a call as well (like you promised) ok! yeesh, tanya, this is not a message board. this is not a message board...

2) the internet in my room
3) chilli padi
4) christmas at home!
5) my teddy bear
6) singapore weather (although it's kinda raining, but still -- shorts!)
7) the singapore dollar = more spending power
8) theme hospital (i give up on the sims. faizah, you have to share your secret of playing the sims)
9) vintage earrings
10) air conditioning
