Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece. ~ Filipenses 4:13, Nueva Version Internacional

i've been rough and tumbled so much in the past 48 hours it's no wonder that i'm feeling like my muscles are ready to fall apart bit by bit. first the plane was delayed by an hour on the ground at changi, then the aerobridge didn't work when we touched down at manchester, so that meant that everyone was left standing for close to an hour while they got a step out and de-iced it since temperatures were an icy -2 degrees. surprisingly enough though, durham was a lot less cold.

got back and lugged everything up to the first floor of the house, then got down to packing. despite laying down the elbow grease though, i somehow have managed to misplace my photos and wall planner, so that means that i will have to make my way down to the trusty prontaprint and copy someone else's wall planner. as for the photos, i guess i will have to live without them.

still homesick, despite the mental psyching up of oneself to not be. at one point i was even thinking of a transfer to the nus law faculty, but realised that was merely building castles in the sky. i know and my family know that wouldn't work for me at all.

what i have been really thinking about though, is a transfer of college. thus far, things are still fluid, but the thing is that in the past term, i've been having trouble working independently. that on top of the fact that i don't want to live with people who don't work as well. honestly, am thinking of a transfer to hatfield, because it works proximity-wise, and also, i get to stay with people who have a common goal in mind as well, judging from the fact that there are more law students over there, and that means more chance of having a reference point when it comes to work, which is something that i need to have. to cut it all short, i need to have people who are doing the same thing around me. despite the apparent immaturity of it all, that's the sort of security that i would like to have, if i can have it.

there's nothing much that i can do now. after all, i have an appointment with the principal later on in the afternoon.
