just a thought to the people i.e. kz who keep on telling me my links are wrong. (in true singaporean fashion) no they're not lor! seriously, i just checked them and indeed, they are correct and accurate; maybe it's something with the browser? there's a thought. and you didn't call me btw! but i shall move on.

for some reason tidal waves of great fatigue have come over me today, even though it is merely four in the afternoon. in about half an hour the shops will close and then life will end for the good city of durham for the day. i mean, practical life, if you know what i mean. falling down drunk on the street is not practical.

the shops close early today, that means that i can't go out to the shops to get my stash of junk food that i had meant to get today. argh. it's strange how, back home, this would be the time people just started going out to meet friends and stuff, but here this is when all economic activity ends for the day. it's strange, and i can't seem to get used to it.

there isn't much interesting stuff that is off the top of my head, although the fact that i can't get my coffee, bread and milk (the only sensible purchases out of the other stuff i meant to buy) still irks me a little. if only i could haul my legs up to tesco in gilesgate, i would.

the domesticity of this blog entry appalls me.
