i still can't believe what happened yesterday. as stupid as it sounds, the unprecendented events that took place at battle royale were things that literally, went beyond my imagination, and my imagination is quite vivid, thank you very much.

as i sit here trying to recall all the nitty-gritty things that happened, i can't help but chuckle at the more erm... outstanding ones. yeesh, now i'm the only one snickering in the computer room. i can't imagine why i do this sometimes.

well, the day was spent pretty much in the usual boring muddle that is our lives for the most part, except when the night rolled round and everyone got their party shoes on to boogie the night away. oh, and by the way, party shoes hurt. they hurt very much.

some highlights of the night:

1) sam!!!! our very own resident britney was up there on the podium shaking her groove thang the whole time, since she finally got to dance, having missed her chance the last time when she was ill. she did so well, and was so good, she totally outshone everyone else. i can't remember how many times we were at the front of the stage going 'go sam!'. well, we did that enough for her to notice us, that's about all i can manage. she did really well, and looked so good while she was at it. that's our sam, that is. :)

2) everyone looking absolutely stunning. 'nuff said about that since it's pretty much self-explanatory anyway. for some reason everyone yesterday night looked really nice, including the guys (hehe), and much compliments were passed round as people gushed at how gorgeous everyone else looked. plus, they sure looked good busting their moves on the dance floor.

3) finding the water cooler near the loo. i never knew there was one there before! so that meant many treks up to the second level to partake of the wonderful cool water whenever the body got dehydrated. suffice to say, it was a godsend.

4) geoff. you have no idea what that guy gets up to when he's drunk. at least, he sure looked like he was drunk. i don't even think he remembered our names, but there he was grinding away with all of us who were caught unawares and didn't stop him in time. kudos go to faz for reawakening the tiger in him. (hoho!) now don't make me start on my little rhyme...

5) he was there, and within sight the whole night. we may be progressing at the speed of galactic tortoises, but some headway was made, at least, so faz can't complain. :)

6) dancing till my feet hurt. my feet hurt so bad at the end of the night, because they were in stilettos that were high enough to make my soles incline at maybe a 45 degree angle. maybe more in fact. it was painful after 4/5 hours of dancing, while rarely stopping for a rest. i could hardly walk the distance to go get a cab with gen at the end of it, because my feet were just feeling like they were ready to drop off. you cannot imagine how relieved i was to get home.

and that's pretty much all i can think of right now. maybe i'll blog more as and when things come to me. but all in all, it was a good night.
