yes, i am quite frustrated now. the fact that i'm running into so much trouble with my passport. it's complicated, and my parents well don't own a mountain, so it's not the easiest thing to swallow at all. i can't believe how they expect people to pay that kind of money. actually, no. it's not the money, it's the principle. frankly speaking i think it's a bit unfair that other people who came in at around the same time as me got three years leave with exactly the same documents. i guess it's a bit self-indulgent, but why should i have to suffer just because the customs officer was having pms, or had her kid throw up on her last night, or get stuck in a traffic jam on the way to work, so that i miss out on the full period of leave i'm entitled to. like hello? now they plonk me with a 20 page form and i'm meant to look at it and provide them with original copies of whatever proof it is they want so that i can stay on. what is the meaning of all this, just what.
