Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece. ~ Filipenses 4:13, Nueva Version Internacional

this is the millionth time i've seen someone wearing that belt i saw in river island. i can remember it mainly because it's very colourful and has pictures printed all along the length of it. now, this would be hugely cool if it were the only one of its kind, but quite frankly, when you see it on every other girl you see in the street (spring/summer '04 no doubt) -- it gets annoying. and feels like we're back in school. y'know, uniform. everytime i see it now it's like: argh! that belt!

sometimes i have no idea why people seem to want to buy things that are so expensive from the high street shops. it just makes everyone look the same, so why spend so much money trying to achieve that? confusing. whatever it is, it sure does bring new meaning to the phrase, "she's wearing the same thing as me!" grr.

this guy just stepped in, and he looks incredibly like ryan from the o.c.! haha... i never thought i would say this, but that ryan guy is one of the more annoying dots on the smooth smooth fabric of the o.c. why i kind of dislike the protagonist, i don't know, but it just seems too damn easy for him to infiltrate and emulate the lives of the rich and famous. things aren't like that in real life! i mean, there's a saying you can't have your cake and eat it; so same here, you can't move out of the trailer park and plonk straight into newport beach and get the friends and get the girl all in the same lifetime. it just ain't right. the show's nice and all, just a tad too popcorn-y for the average young person of this day and age who actually thinks. don't get me wrong, i'm not taking the piss... in fact i have an obscenely sad fascination with seth cohen, (don't we all) but still i can't help but feel that sometimes the producers seem to be making a fool out of the audience, not to mention earning pots of money while they're at it. hrm. pots of money, i like that. could i catch the next flight out of here and go to l.a. then? ;)

right, it's about time to go back to studying. it's the last leg people! if i do this properly i'll never have to see tort again, and hopefully i'll have done the rest properly as well, so i'll never have to see the whole first year module again! things look promising so far, but i wouldn't burn my notes just yet. here's fingers crossed as to me being in the clear and passing to the next year. more about this later, when the time comes.
