don't stop the music*
Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece. ~ Filipenses 4:13, Nueva Version Internacional

yesterday was back to the beach night. because we were all bored and needed desperately to participate in something that would occupy our nights, we decided to go for it, beach wear and all.

first, the outfit. he chose my clothes for the night, and i must say that his sense of style isn't too impaired. and i learnt that a flower behind the ear really makes a difference -- that made for instant beach appeal. :)

second, the people. there were horde-y people of course, but then again there were some really lovely people there as well. this being our first 'back to' anything party, it was a new experience for everyone -- which included the techno and trance at certain points of the night. (eurghhh) but of course, there was the usual chart r & b and all that to alleviate the pounding synthesised beats of the former. there were quite a number of people we knew there, so besides the strange, drunk horde-y people, there were people we knew here and there. for a start there was elijah, then cordelia, who warned us against the beverages, bruno, boyband, my uncle, dad, the usual gang, and even the turbot and friends were there. we were introduced to some random people whom i wouldn't be able to remember now, but that doesn't matter because i doubt they would be able to do the same.

to be quite frank, yesterday night was quite an ego boost right from the start. call me shallow... no, on second thought, don't you dare call me shallow, but it's a nice feeling to feel like you're known, or appreciated, and well, liked, in essence. i can't very well elaborate on that, but i think the smile on my face at the memory of it says it all.

got back tired, as the sun was rising, but that was ok, because it was a night well spent.
