today is harry potter day! yay!

sorry about the childishness of it all, but i really can't wait to see the azkaban film. after all, i liked the book, so why not the movie :) (now stop all that tosh about cradlesnatching 'cuz it's not funny!) although to sidetrack a little, there seems to be an amazing resemblance with ron weasley and a certain personality who is always out and about (especially when it comes to electing a certain class of people) -- the similarity goes beyond just the name though... the guy even has (reasonably) ginger hair and all, so i reckon he must have known ms. rowling at some point of time or another. strange though, our ron doesn't have a compulsive chewing habit. hoho. but all the same, it's a great book, and all great books deserve to be made into films, right? right?

the running has been coming along well, although i'm nowhere near the standard i was way back when i was sweet seventeen (poetic licence!), and that was a low standard as well... but i guess it's always good to start somewhere, if anywhere at all.

there's still one more ticket for harry potter that we have left over. i do not know what we're going to do with it, because no one seems to want to come along... how can anyone not want to see harry? hrm, that sounds strange. what i meant was, how can anyone -- i give up. you get the idea.

(later) evidently the nightmare still hasn't ended. another sighting of the ron this afternoon, less than 1 metre away from my person. oh man.
