yes yes. today was the day for steaming pau. and what a day it was.

sure maybe the day is only half gone, but who cares, because i got to steam pau! or is it paus? hrm... the plural sounds a bit funny, but anyway, you get the idea.

the weather has been crazy lately. obviously my statement that morning sun is good for you was premature. as i was eating my kaya toast this morning, i felt like the skin on my back was about to be burnt off by the vitamin-d giving big round yellow thing up in the sky.

and today in some random shop, i bumped into an ah-kwa, no, two! trust me, being eyeballed by some stranger is odd enough, but now this--! and after that he/she picked at the fabric of my top and said this classic, classic line, to be remembered now and forever more:

"your top ah, very nice... feminine."

i was rendered speechless. it was just a funny incident, no offence to them of course. :)

apologies for the short post, but i need to run off and make some good of my real life now.
