it all started one day at work. i was happily working when these two girls came up to me and asked for some help. actually, they wanted to get an item of clothing as a present for someone else. all well and good, and they managed to get something in the end, but i guess my common face or what managed to make some sort of impression and for some strange reason too i remember their faces. oh, and also because they wanted to get the present for a friend who has simply ballooned since she went to the uk.

OKAY.

then right, then right, they tried to run away without taking their change. all of thirty cents. then right, then right, i had to yell after them to please accept the thirty cents, otherwise my colleague and i would be forced to undertake some bizarre form of money laundering. so that was the end of it, or so i thought.

in about a week, i've seen the both of them in town twice, and each time strange looks and much whispering abound.

it's all that panda's fault for drawing my attention to them all the time. and yes you heard it right, NEH. that's some kind of coincidence man. ah, and i'm just kidding around with the panda thing.

in other news, have gotten pay! joy! elation! spending power! well not really, but -- spending power! i know that doesn't look particularly smooth as a sentence per se, but here's a mental exercise folks, try imagining me saying it. i have full confidence then that the above sentence will make much more sense.
