the heat is on.

not literally, of course. i mean that the fresher's weekend we've all been waiting for has finally reached fruition today, and guess what, when my alarm rings this morning, i look out of the window and see -- lots and lots of rain.

bummer.

anyhow, today's the day all our international freshers arrive and that meant the donning of the kelly green isa shirt which, as carmen, renu and myself found out yesterday, is obscenely big for all of us. yes, we can use said polo shirt as a dress. yes, it does reach down to mid-thigh. yes, it is BIG, and YES, we do have the pictures to prove it. but still, i wear it now as i type this before i go out to face the tired, jetlagged people coming from all corners of the globe. the words 'isa secretary' are emblazoned boldly on the back of the shirt, but i am afraid people might not be able to see said words unless i tie up my hair. why i am indulging in such mindless word stringing, i'm not very sure, but hey.

the thought of having all those months of planning come to pass though, is a wonderful feeling. i can't help but think that all the hard work we've put in is about to pay off, and hopefully everything goes well today. *fingers crossed*

the thought of wearing the shirt for three days kinda gives me the shivers though. maybe we'll try to shrink our shirts in the wash today. i think now's the time i go deep in thought...
