the fatigue is beginning to set in. for some reason, the weather seems to have been sapping my energy for the past few days. i suppose it's also because i'm getting stressed thanks to the many surprises that have come my way -- one stellar example being the computer law scare today. i open my notes and voila, realise that the first assignment, a full length essay, is due in two weeks' time. two weeks! there was much moaning and gnashing of teeth.

anyhow, the criminal law lecturer is not making my life any easier with his incoherent mumblings and general 'reading from the casenotes' mode of teaching. in that case we should all do distance learning then. after all, the cases are (almost) all available on westlaw.

that aside, though, the isa has organised a trip to edinburgh on saturday! yay! it's only two days away! despite the news of snow in scotland over the weekend, i'm happy because at least it'll be some time away from the oppressiveness of the essays and other miscellaneous pieces of work that are slowly but surely piling atop my wee head.

it's only about four in the afternoon and the sky has turned semi-dark. this looks like my cue to get downstairs and prepare for tomorrow's criminal tutorial.
