today after a rant or two, i felt better.

then i realised the reason.

that aside though, the weather has been quite horrifying lately, with nothing but cold, cold, cold. 'tis truly coming to the bleak mindwinter, strike on the strains of a pennywhistle playing. truly, at this rate, it might just snow before the year is out. better get those christmas cards written then.

recently faz and i have gotten hooked to--wait for it-- hollyoaks, the series. yes, the soap! the soap! i really quite enjoy the show though, not to mention that it's a good time filler on sundays when we get to watch the 2-hour special. any chance to watch dan hunter on screen again... *big cheesy grin* he is indeed a violent mechanic, but he's a cute violent mechanic. he's just a wee lad on the inside...

have gotten a bad case of the sniffles (part two) after the unforeseen lousy weather. poo. the weather in hk better not be like this otherwise there will be much moaning and gnashing of teeth. yowl.

sometimes i wonder what's going to happen when i leave this town and all its comforts behind. to actually not be in school of any sort anymore and having the herculean task of finding someone to Gainfully Employ me. a part of me just doesn't want to bother with all that and take up a new course in life like being a hippy or something, but we all know that's not what we really want. success, your name in lights, that kind of thing is more my cup of tea. however, that doesn't come without a long, hard climb to the top, and that comes with pure, unadulterated effort.

if only the first-class degree, great job, bmw, semi-detached house in an upper-middle class neighbourhood and perfect husband and kids came in exchange for a hundred fifty quid over the counter on production of your 'a' level grades. but alas, that is a mere castle in the air. (can't use the word 'puff', it's banned)

i want to see the sun rise in San Francisco. i want to see the dazzling lights in Tokyo. i want to do so many things that i don't have the power to do. maybe one day these dreams will come true.
