now kids, how many times have i told you and told you, my juice is not for the public domain?

yet! and yet! yesterday i leave a carton in the fridge with easily a third left in it, and this morning what do i find? said carton is empty. and cunningly secreted back in the little nook where i left it, quite specifically, the night before.

i really like orange juice. i don't know why and i couldn't tell you even if i tried. maybe it's just some tic inside me that craves the orange stuff because i've had the mantra orange=healthy=good drummed into me from an early age. the whole reason why i don't like people to take my juice because i finish it at light speed as it is and other people drinking juice simultaneously only means that the juice will finish faster. which means i will need to go to morrisons to buy more juice. which means that i will need to lug them back all the way from millburngate. which means that i spend more money. you do the math.

which means i go downstairs, roll up my sleeves, pick up the remaining carton of juice and place it in pride of place on my desk, which now is oh-so-empty because i have cleared it of all books in observance of end of term ritual.

i totally understand if, in the haze of the morning, you reach instinctively for the juice and pour yourself a cup. i do not mind that. what i do mind is the fact that some little leprechaun (surprise st. patrick's day reference there) put the empty juice carton back where it was, making the shock all the more nasty. i mean, if the carton is empty right, the least you could do is throw it away right? don't put it back in the fridge for the air inside it to cool. there's stuff in there that really needs to be refrigerated. yarr.

and anyway, it really wouldn't hurt to ask, would it?
