ok i think after all these years, it's finally time to start mocking my discipline. you know how they say that the professionalism of the law always shines through, no matter what? atticus finch in 'to kill a mockingbird' said that the courtrooms are the 'great levellers' of our land, finding justice for everyone who deserves it. however sometimes i think us lawyers (wannabe ones more like) take ourselves a bit too seriously. what's with all this 2:1 pish tosh? and the gruelling selection criterias? there's more to life than just the sale of goods act 1979! but anyway, ignore my drivel - the commercial law paper yesterday was tough, but all that's over now. in fact, i even abandon my thoughts of poking fun at the veritable badgers that is my subject of choice, because comme des garcons has already done that for me! look here:

well, that was fun while it lasted. what confuses me is how the clothing actually relates back, nay justifies, the powdered judge's wigs the models have on. does no one realise that these models have starved themselves silly so they couldn't tell their left foot from the lamppost? no one thought of that i don't think. well, the couture realm is a dark one.

speaking of which, today has also been a dark one. the sky is grey and the sun is... hiding. all i can think of is jump up and down and squeal: yay yay, newcastle tomorrow! star wars on friday!
yes, i am easily satisfied.

of course, of course, i have to finish studying the 8 principles of data protection first before i get the chance to kick back and enjoy my demi-freedom. oh exams, three good(ish) papers and one mucky one make all the difference.
