yeah, call me a hopeless romantic/idealist if you want, but on wednesday, Boy and i passed the fifth month mini milestone. pschaw, i hear you cry, five months and you're making a hullabaloo? i guess you could say that, but at the same time it's been five months of joy, laughter, tears, and all that kind of stuff - all of which mean so much to the both of us and go so far as to come close to defining the basis on which our relationship stands.

the unspoken words, the late-night phone calls. even watching the kittens grow and the days spent basking in the summer sun, every single moment is etched clearly in my mind. i look at the photos we took together and it feels like you're right next to me, looking over my shoulder. i really thank God for letting me have you in my life. you tick all my boxes, as numerous as they were, and fill my heart with joy.

even though we may be thousands of miles apart, you are always on my mind.

as much as it sounds like a horribly cliched movie line that i never thought i would ever say, here i am acting like a complete monkey and waxing lyrical on the extent to how deep is my love a la beegees. nevermind, whatever it is, i just wanted to say that yes --



and i'm counting the days till you're with me again.
