the sky seems to have brightened since yesterday's dark clouds have moved away. from now on i'll just try to stop thinking about these things because all they seem to be capable of doing is make everyone unhappy.


right now i'm into my third last day at work, which is a pity, but at the same time i get to go home and spend time with my family! hurray! nowt much to report by way of interesting happenings, save for the fact that i'm going to eat economical bee hoon (yes, that's it's real name) this evening and go back to sew a couple more stitches onto the cross-stitch thingamajiggie i'm currently attempting.

speaking of which, i've realised that cross-stitch is a real granny thing to be doing, but it's strangely addictive. the many stitches that form one pretty picture may be difficult and/or straining on the eye, but it's a form of stress relief after a hard day's work. yeesh, i have a feeling i'm gonna be the type of person who sews those huge precious moments semi-tapestries to hang on the wall etc. that's if i really get into this whole crafty-wafty cross-stitch thing.
