normally i'm not one to favour cartoon characters shaped into food or other edibles, (i mean, the cats stuffed into sushis and milkshakes all but took the -i pun!- cake.) but i think this time i have to make an exception. dig the cupcake plush doll from my paper crane:

ah! chocolate cupcakes! and strawberry cupcakes! how cute are they?! scroll down for a close(r)-up look:

and and and, it gets better! in addition to all sorts of stuffed plush toys that the designer has on her website, there are doughnuts, cartons of milk, stacks of felt pancakes, and slices of toast -- all with happy faces that seem to say, in a silent sort of way: eat me! eat me! i'm delicious! to be fair, they are really cute. and since we're into the whole gastronomic imagery thing here, the veritable icing on the cake (haha) is this *tada* strawberry sprinkle doughnut pillows!!!!!


despite all the cuteness that pervades this site, the picture below of the "tampon doll" freaks me out some. i mean, what would you use it for? decoration? a bolster? neck rest, even? eeps.
