yup, the birthday weekend has passed, and right now i'm back to putting the nose to the grindstone. the reason why i haven't been blogging as much as i should is because i've been crouching by the letter slot (i won't say 'box' because it sure as anything isn't anything more than a 2cm x 5cm hole in the door), trying to spy a peek of the postman who brings my acceptance letters.

and yes! today i got one! the last trophy has been added to my wall of accolades. well, sorta. (ha!) anyway, there will be no more waiting for now, and i can finally get back to trying to do some work with relative peace of mind, although now i have to make a decision as to where i want to uproot myself to next year. yay.

meantime, my hands are too frozen for me to even type properly without ending up with glaring typos due to my joints seizing up with cold. at this point, pictures of my birthday may or may not come. seeing as we spent most of the time kinda huddled up in the living room watching movies, all i have to remember the night of my 21st year passing are what few pics i have, and the pair of suede shoes (not blue, thank you) that stand testament to said night.

i think i'll stop here and do some work to ease my conscience. toodles.
