on sunday Boy brought me on a good old-fashioned movie date. the time of dvds has taken over civilisation as we know it, and we realised that the last time we actually went to the movies was to watch the brothers grimm in september... 2005! and that was in hk, so it didn't count anyway because the cinema is so close to my house it's almost like it's part of my estate. ha, cyberport is great!

anyway, this movie - ice age 2. good fun! we went to the gala theatre and inhaled the popcorn-y atmostphere. it was great doing something spontaneous after weeks of mooching around the house doing work, and a welcome break too. Boy bought us some grub, including some halal ice cream, the first of its kind that i've ever seen here in blighty. (it's in the lower right hand corner!)

overall, a lovely film with *gasp* mild peril, but it was really enjoyable and a joy to watch. better than ice age 1 in fact, except that the baby boy from the first movie was sorely missed. plus, has anyone seen these two possums?

before you say anything, yes he is biting my glasses, and yes, i do have forehead wrinkles. it's a wonder what cabin fever can do to oneself. botox, here i come! um. mebbe a better picture will stop that food from coming up.
